My Fellow Americans,
I am Ashley Beery, a member of New Hope Community Church in Marysville. I reside in Richwood, Ohio and I am a 20-year-old college student. I am also an emergency medic! al technician in Kenton. God has called upon me to do more and I need your help.
I have started Covers of Courage, a non-profit organization to send hand quilted blankets that I am making to soldiers overseas. I have the names, addresses, and how many soldiers there are in each unit, and will send them in groups that equal each unit, so that everyone in the unit receives a blanket. I also want to send extra items such as candy, socks, and toiletries.
We must not sit complacent in our comfortable home and let those fighting for freedom think they are forgotten. I am so driven to do this that I put 300 dollars of my own money into buying the fleece panels that I am quilting. Every one of you can help. You can help by sending me your Joann Fabric coupons, a Wal-Mart or Joann gift card, or buy a fleece panel off of Ebay or a local store.
